What Is Facebook Poke
Facebook Poke Mean
Definition
A Facebook poke is a complimentary feature that allows you to send out a digital "Hey, I was here" message. The poke turns up on your friend's page as a symbol that represents who poked him as well as offers the choices "Remove Poke" or "Poke Back" If you obtain the symbol on your page, only you - not the visitors to your page - will see it, and also if you don't poke back or remove it, the individual who sent it can't poke you again. When you hide the poke or poke back, however, that person is cost-free to poke you again. Facebook's settings enable you to ask for an email when you get a poke.
Area
When you go to a friend's Facebook homepage, search in the upper high-hand edge for the grey switch that says "Poke" and contains an image of a finger poking. The switch is straight to the right of the "Send Message" button. Click "Poke"; no additional activity is needed. When you see your very own homepage, you will not see the poke switch because you can not poke yourself; on your page, you'll find the "Edit Profile" button rather.
Enabled Pokes
You are permitted to poke someone that is a confirmed friend of your own, a friend of a validated friend or an individual in a shared network. The same three categories of Facebook individuals can poke you also.
Poking Add-Ons
A number of complimentary programs allow you to automatically poke buddies. Facebook Autopoke 3.5 pokes back friends listed on your home page. SuperPoke lets you poke with "little added" icons such as kiss, high five, hug, snuggle or spank, among others. To send a poke from your android phone, try AutoPoke, offered from AndroLib; the program needs that you have SMS notifies enabled on your Facebook account.
