Hiding Friends On Facebook
Hide Mutual Friends Facebook
Currently, an individual has control on practically everything in their profile (e.g. status, pictures, albums etc). The individual likewise has the control of just how they wish to share product (e.g. with everyone, friends, friends of friends, etc). Individuals can even manually hide a status from certain individuals.
Did you recognize that you can even hide your friend list? It's true.
If you do not want complete strangers to see your friend list, then you can just hide it from them. It's really simple. You can use the enhanced Facebook privacy setups to modify your friend list's presence.
One thing which I have seen when you keep your friend list public is that many people see that list as well as begin adding friends thoughtlessly.
And also seeing common friends, various other friends usually accept the friend request. It's type of embarrassing when your woman friend informs you that some mutual friend of yours has sent her a pal request.
It's much better to let your friend list be visible only to you and hidden from others.
This guide has been updated to match the new Facebook privacy settings, as Facebook made some major adjustments recently. So, follow this new tutorial and hide your Facebook friend list from others:
- Login to your Facebook account
- Most likely to your Profile web page
- Click Friends
Now, on your Facebook friend list page, simply click on the "Manage" icon on top right & click "Edit Privacy".
From here you can manage that could see your friend list as well as who can't. I typically keep it visible to me just, as this is better for the personal privacy of my friends since I do not want them to be pounded with unlimited friend demands.
Look into this screenshot for far better understanding:
If you do not want anybody to see your Facebook friend list, maintain the "Who can see your friend list" setting to "Only Me".
( Keeping your Facebook friend list noticeable for others is absolutely your option, however my idea would be to maintain it hidden from the privacy of your friends.).
