Deactivate Page
I choose the to shut off account option since I would certainly still be requiring the account, simply wanted to get off Facebook for a while. I may wish to convert it from an individual account to web page later on but prior to I shut down the account, I made certain I transferred admin duties of my follower web pages to one more account. Likewise, I ensured I modified admin duties for my Facebook apps as well as included a new admin using my private Facebook account (for household and real good friends only) so as not to break anything.
So, with that in place, I did just what I needed to do.
How To Deactivate A Facebook Page
This is the option I opted for cuz it's safer and seemed even more like exactly what I needed. You can always log back in whenever you have to utilize the account once again yet while it's shut off, your good friends can't connect with you; it's like relaxing from FB.
-- Most likely to your Account Settings from the top-right food selection
-- Click on Security, then "Deactivate your account" as shown below:
-- On the next page, pick your reason for deactivating your account as well as hit the "Validate" button.
-- Enter you password, fill up the captcha confirmation and that's it. Your account will be shut down yet you can always activate it back anytime you want by just visiting to Facebook with your typical log in details.
